Shut It Aluminum Half Bolt-On BadAss for 100 to 4-15/16" posts: a stronger post connection
This half bolt-on hinge is made to bolt or weld to fence posts of 100 to 4-15/16". Its wide mounting brackets have four anchor points that sit at the sides of the post rather than at the center, which reduces post flexing, prevents fatigue in the fence post and gives a solid, stronger connection.
Materials and operation
The hinge has an aluminum body and is CNC machined for near frictionless movement. A precision bushing distributes the gate load for optimal performance and a longer life, and the high temperature sealed bearings need no greasing and are safe to powder coat with the hinges installed on the gate.
Sizes and fit
D&D rates the hinges at a load of 450 kg per gate and a maximum gate weight of 270 kg.
Warranty
D&D Technologies gives a limited lifetime warranty. For posts of 6" and larger, choose the 6" version of this hinge.
