Shut It Heavy-Duty BadAss: 50% more load than the Original
The Heavy-Duty BadAss is designed for the rare installations where even the Original BadAss is not strong enough. D&D Technologies built it to hold 50% more load than the Original, and like every BadAss hinge it is CNC machined to tight tolerances.
Materials and operation
Three high temperature sealed bearings need no greasing and no maintenance, and they are safe to powder coat with the hinges installed on the gate. The finish is zinc.
Sizes and fit
D&D rates the hinges at a load of 1,360 kg per gate and a maximum gate weight of 680 kg. The adjustable bracket gives horizontal adjustment for a precise installation, with a gate gap of 61 to 74 mm. It suits square or round posts of 38 mm and up.
Installation
The hinge is welded to the gate and post. It is specified for pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates and is not self-closing.
