The Installer Pro weighs 34.6 lb, light enough to carry alone.

Which temporary fence panel do I need?

Choose by three things: the mesh, the height and how the panels will be used. Anti-climb welded mesh suits public-facing sites and repeat rentals; chain link suits standard job-site perimeters. A 6 ft panel is the common job-site height, an 8 ft panel gives a taller, more secure line.

ZND Installer Pro, Plus and Max compared

Installer Pro

The ST612V.LW is a 6 ft x 12 ft lightweight panel at 34.6 lb, light enough for one person to carry and set. It has a vertical brace bar and suits small crews, pedestrian control and short to mid-term jobs.

Installer Plus

Square-top panels for active job sites, repeat rentals and installs that stay up for months, set by a two-person crew. Listed weights run from 44.6 lb for the 6 ft ST612 to 66.3 lb for the 8 ft ST812VH.

Installer Max

ZND's heaviest series, with a round-top frame. The curved corners leave fewer points where stress builds up when panels are lifted, stacked and reset. Made for busy, public-facing and long-term sites.

What the model codes mean

  • ST: square top. RT: round top.
  • 612 or 812: 6 ft or 8 ft high, 12 ft wide.
  • V: a vertical brace bar. H: a horizontal brace bar. VH: both.
  • No letter: the plain frame, with the mesh welded straight into the perimeter tube.

All ZND panels have anti-climb welded wire mesh with tight vertical wire spacing and SmartWeld construction, repairable with a standard spot welder.

  • 6 ft x 12 ft with a vertical brace: the standard job-site panel, a galvanized tube frame with one center brace and chain-link mesh wire-laced to the frame.
  • 8 ft x 12 ft with a cross brace: the heavy-duty panel for high-security perimeters, with a vertical and a horizontal brace holding the mesh tight.
  • Pedestrian chain-link gate: 4 ft wide, in the 6 ft or 8 ft height of the panels around it.

Welded mesh is rigid and anti-climb, and keeps its shape through many rental cycles. Chain link is the traditional job-site infill, wire-laced to the frame. Both stand in stands and join panel to panel.

Stands, couplers and gates

Set each ZND panel in a tube stand and clamp neighbors with couplers; a straight run takes one more stand than it has panels. A TempFence panel stands in two panel stands and joins the next with a clamp and bolt, so a run takes one stand and one clamp per panel plus one stand to finish it. Add stabilizers, weights or gravel bags on exposed sites.

How many panels per job site?

Divide the perimeter by 12 ft and round up, then add the gates. Fenceweb delivers temporary fence panels to every US state and to Canada.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What size are temporary fence panels?

All panels here are 12 ft wide and 6 ft or 8 ft high.

What is the difference between Installer Pro, Plus and Max?

Pro is the lightweight panel one person can set. Plus is a two-person square-top panel for active sites. Max is ZND's heaviest series, with a round-top frame.

Are welded mesh panels better than chain link?

Welded mesh is rigid and anti-climb and holds its shape through repeated use. Chain link is the traditional job-site infill. The right choice depends on the site and how often panels move.

Which panels are anti-climb?

All ZND Installer Pro, Plus and Max panels have anti-climb welded wire mesh with tight vertical wire spacing.

Is there a matching gate?

Yes. The TempFence pedestrian chain-link gate is 4 ft wide in 6 ft or 8 ft heights. ZND panels can swing as a gate with gate hinge couplers.

How many stands do I need?

For a straight run of ZND panels, one more tube stand than panels. A TempFence run takes one stand and one clamp per panel, plus one stand to finish it.
