This Gatemaster locking bolt has a strong deadbolt that moves 2-1/16" with one turn of the key, making it excellent for wooden gates, which often expand and contract with the weather. This lock can also be used on metal gates where a lock with a long throw is required. Now available in a choice of two colors: silver or black.

The eurocylinder that extends from the back of the lock comes in two lengths for different gate thicknesses. The standard GLB can be used on gates up to 15/16" thick and the GLB02 on gates up to 2-3/8" thick.

Installation
- 1Mark the fixing holes for the lock on the inside of the gate, at a comfortable working height.
- 2Fix the lock in position with screws of your choice, making sure it sits straight and level.
- 3Line the keep plate up with the bolt in the locked position and screw the keep to the post or frame.
Maintenance
Lubricate the moving parts periodically with a light oil.

Will it survive outdoors all year?
It is built for it. The bodies are pressure die-cast and powder-coated, latchbolts are stainless steel and the keypads are marine grade, so salt air and rain are not a problem. Follow the maintenance schedule on this page - a spray of light oil a few times a year is what keeps a gate lock feeling new after a decade outside.
What warranty comes with this product?
