Shut It Round Bolt-On BadAss: heavy duty hinges for round posts
The Round Bolt-On BadAss is designed for gates where the post is round and welding is not an option. Its flat bolt-on brackets allow through bolting, and the hinge links a square gate frame to a round post.
Materials and operation
The yoke and body are steel and the hinge is zinc plated. High temperature sealed bearings need no greasing and no maintenance, and they are safe to powder coat with the hinges installed on the gate. The barrel is adjustable and the hinge adjusts horizontally, so the gate can be set precisely.
Sizes and fit
Choose the model for your round post: 102 mm, 152 mm or 203 mm. D&D rates the hinges at a load of 900 kg per gate and a maximum gate weight of 450 kg. The gate gap is 69 to 81 mm.
Typical uses
The hinge is specified for pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates, including chain link gates on round posts. It is not self-closing. Bolts are ordered separately to suit your gate and post.
